  1. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Karen. Your home looks beautiful in the snow. Enjoy your white Christmas. Although I’m in Canada, it looks like we’re getting a brown Christmas this year, but as I write this on Christmas Eve there is breathtaking golden sunshine streaming through the windows and that puts me in the Christmas spirit too!

    1. Thank you Monique, we do both like yellow houses. Yellow always brings a smile to my face. I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas with your lovely family.

  2. Merry Christmas Karen from sunny, hot Perth. We’ll be heading to the beach tomorrow before enjoying a seafood lunch with the family! Enjoy your white Christmas in your beautiful home

  3. There’ll be no white Christmas in these parts this year — and me with a new snow-blower just itching to get out there and get to work! In due time, I’m sure. I hope you and your loved ones have a bright & beautiful Christmas, Karen. Buon Natale!

    1. Buon Natale to you John. My snow blower just got put on my garden tractor last week. I hope that you don’t get too much use out of your snow blower. All my best.

  4. Merry Christmas Karen!
I am always so fascinated by your beautiful home! I would be honoured to have a walk around it – you never know, just maybe one day, I could make it to your side of the world.

  5. Merry Christmas to you too. I’m afraid it shall be a green Christmas in Toronto!
I have just received the Versatile Blogger Award again and I am nominating you as a recipient. Congratulations!

    1. Merry Christmas Eva and thank you for your gift of the Versatile Blogger Award. I too have already received this award but it is always a thrill when a blogger thinks highly of another blogger. I hope you have a great Christmas.

    1. Hi Anna, Yes that is my house in the photo. In earlier posts you can see more of our home, orchard and interior. A Merry Christmas to you as well.

    1. Hi Karista, Thank you for your compliment. I think you are right…our house does look especially pretty at Christmas. I hope your holidays will be great as well.

    1. Hi Celi, Thank you for the compliment about our house. It really is pretty this time of the year…it is so sunny looking with the snow around it. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well.

  6. You forgot Sweden! “God Jul” 😀 Merry Christmas Karen, and I have to say (again… I think I say it a lot) – Damn, your house is beautiful. It looks like something out of a greetings card 🙂

    1. Merry Christmas Mary. Sorry that sunny Florida wasn’t sunny today. There is something nice about it being cold enough for a nice sweater and a little crunchy snow under foot.

    1. Thank you Michelle, for your nice comment. I have to agree with your grandmother about yellow houses, they seem so happy. We had a lovely holiday.

  7. If only it was a white one, t’was in a few lucky places but not in the UK. Even looking further afield into Europe it was also a green one.

Best Wishes and hope you had a good Christmas.

    1. Hi Tony, Thank you for visiting my blog. What a difference…we were in Europe for Christmas the last two years and there was a lot of snow. We did have a lovely Christmas and I hope you did as well.

    1. Hi Ashley, Thank you for your lovely compliment. We are lucky to live in our historic home which we think is very beautiful. If you could have seen it when we bought it, you might be like others that thought we were a little crazy. We have restored it back to its glory and I’m so happy that others like it as much as we do.

  8. Merry Christmas and what a stunning photo! I’m glad that we met over the blog-o-sphere in 2011 and I look forward to your posts in 2012!
