Small bite hors d’oeuvres will add a festive touch as you drink your favorite glass of bubbly and wait to ring in the New Year. Whether it’s the two of you at home or you need to bring an appetizer to a party, any of these bite size appetizers will be a hit.

I can happily make a meal out of appetizers, especially when they are as tasty as the ones pictured above. These easy to prepare small bite hors d’oeuvres have always been popular with my guests and are appropriate any time of the year.

Shrimp Cocktail Phyllo Bites are simple to make hors d’oeuvres. They are crispy store bought phyllo cups filled with creamy cheese, cocktail sauce and a bite size shrimp sitting on top and can be put together in 15 minutes.

Roasted Grapes With Warm Brie Crostini is a sweet and savory appetizer, It takes mere minutes to put together and is perfect to serve at an impromptu gathering of friends or at a evening cocktail party.

Smoked Salmon Appetizer Bites are cucumbers slices topped with a smear of garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese, smoked salmon, capers and red onions. Delicious, gluten free and low carb, they are healthier than a lot of appetizers you see at cocktail parties.

Mini Avocado Toast with Lobster Salad is the ultimate party appetizer. Lobster salad turns avocado toast into elegant finger food to sip with Champagne. When lobster isn’t within the budget, shrimp salad is a good alternative.

Tomato, Spinach And Goat Cheese Tarts are made with easy to find store bought ingredients, but look as though they came from a gourmet food store. The colorful tarts can be served as appetizers but also make a pretty side dish at your next social gathering.

Savory Goat Cheese Truffles are bite size savory goat cheese balls mixed with dried fruit and then rolled in nuts or seeds and skewered with a pretzel stick. No cooking skills needed for this fun appetizer.
